Lesson Plans

Following participation in a Holocaust teacher training, you are asked to share a lesson plan developed based on what you learned at the training. Lesson plans will be posted on this page and available to teachers in Nevada.

Following participation in a Holocaust Teacher Training, please complete a lesson plan using the Lesson Plan Template. The content of the lesson should reflect what you learned during the teacher training.  Lessons for the October 2009 workshops must be submitted no later than November 13, 2009, in order to receive the in-service credit. 

To complete a lesson using the template, click on the link above, save the file to your computer, then email the completed lesson plan to:

Each lesson plan had to meet the following criteria:

1.  All components of the lesson plan template were complete.

2.  All handouts, resources, and internet links used in the lesson were provided.

3.  Instructional strategies used were interactive and engaging.

4.  Lesson plan used a variety of primary and secondary sources.

5.  The lesson plan included content from the workshop attended.
